Email marketing comes in a variety of flavors. Some are sent in plain text, others are html enriched that allow text, graphics and background.

There are even some email marketing campaigns that provide an abbreviated email edition with a full version on their business website.

Of course business owners provide ample links throughout their email to give the recipient as many opportunities as possible to drop by.

The video emails sent through the system do not require buffering and the voice and video match. In many ways it was just like watching TV.

In this video I talk about this new media and demo a real life example of a video e-mail sent to a colleague.  Although video email will probably not surpass text email as the most popular form of communication, the use of video email will grow.  The main points of the video:

  • Video e-mail adds the visual – you can see and hear viewer, so the tone of communication is clear.
  • Its unique – video email is more interesting than text and is more likely to be opened and viewed
  • Provides variety – Updates, reminders and changes can be communicated quickly with video email.
