Why Your Business Needs Web Video Marketing
Posted by: | CommentsPlan and simple, video is the most engaging content available creating a multi sensory experience for the viewer. No other advertising medium can trigger an emotional response the way video can. As a result, this makes the greatest impact on your prospects and customers.
Video is also the most effective ways to get your face, voice and brand all over the Internet positioning you as a leader and an expert in your field. When people see you, you become real and this humanizes the experience differentiating you from your competitors by putting a face/voice on your business.
Viewers also get to know you through your videos and if they like and trust you, they will want to do business with you. If you are truly sincere in your desire to help others, your videos will convert like wildfire and unlike traditional forms of advertising your web videos have no expiration date!
What this means is that your videos are out there working for you 24/7, educating your prospects about your product or service even while you sleep.

5 Deadly Marketing Mistakes
Posted by: | Comments
The 5 biggest marketing mistakes I have seen (and done myself!) are things that can be easily corrected.
It’s been said that “A problem identified is a problem half solved,” so after personally coaching hundreds of people, and seeing everything from miserable failure to fantastic success, here’s my list of five deadly marketing mistakes, hopefully it can help you in your marketing efforts.
1. Not getting started. Yup, seems pretty obvious, but this has got to be number one by a long way. Question: why do we buy programs, courses and books, learn some great ideas and techniques, but not take action? Purchasing information can be like a drug, it feels good at the time, but leaves us worse off than we were before. That’s how too many people treat the very information that can help them be successful.
2. Bad Philosophy. OK, I know that may sound weird, but I’m convinced it’s another huge reason people don’t succeed in their online marketing efforts. They have bad philosophies. Here’s some samples of destructive philosophies:
-”How quickly will this work?” That’s a killer. It’s a nonsensical question. It doesn’t matter how long it took the people in the testimonials, it doesn’t matter how long it took anybody. Your story is your story. It will probably take longer than you hope, but if you quit it’s guaranteed to never work for you. Don’t waste time thinking about something that is impossible to predict. You might succeed faster or slower than others, but the only way to know how long it takes is to persist until you succeed. Read More→

3 Secrets to Making Your Email Marketing More Effective

Author: Tuan LedyardEmail marketing is the main focus of many internet marketers.
It was immediately apparent that all they needed to do was get a list of addresses and then they could make money through that list for many years.
This article will be focusing on email marketing tips that will help you boost your sales and conversions.
The first thing that you need to keep in mind when using email marketing is to aim on avoiding the spam filters. In order to protect their customers from spam or unsolicited messages, email service providers have fairly advanced technology to filter out certain emails. Each email that is received goes through the spam filter, which awards points to emails to determine if they are spam. Depending on the particular provider or how the customer has set up his account, emails that get a high number of spam points are sent to the spam folder or deleted outright. The trick is to avoid using words in your subject line or email body that are likely to alert the spam filter, such as “making money,” “free,” “build wealth,” and so forth. Very often, recipients don’t receive information that they’ve requested due to spam filters. Read More→
Why Video Marketing Can Be So Effective For Any Business

Author: Simon Thurston
Despite the fact that many small businesses now realize that video marketing is something that they can implement relatively easily, for some reason they still aren’t doing it.
With the benefits that video marketing can offer a business, this could be a fatal mistake.
This is possibly due to the fact that the concept of video marketing is still relatively new, and this could mean that most business owners simply do not understand how to use it effectively.
So if you’re business is not using video at the moment, then this is potentially good news for you, and bad news for your competition. If you could start creating some videos about your business, you could steal a march on your competitors.
The Good News Is
Your competitors are unlikely to be using video marketing yet, and so this could be happy days for you and your business. And as you may have read in my previous article about video marketing, it is neither very difficult or expensive to create and produce a video.
In fact the very concept of video marketing has grown in popularity hugely in recent years, mainly due to substantial improvements and the greater availability of affordable technology. Digital and HD (High Definition) camcorders are now relatively inexpensive to buy compared to when they were first launched, and this has allowed many more people to film and upload their videos for all the world to see.
