Smart People Using Events Smartly

Posted by · Comments (0)

Received an e-mail today from my favorite voice broadcast service, Phonevite.

These are smart people doing several very smart things.

First they are using an event to gain interest and create engagement — a contest to win an Apple iPod touch, Phonevite Premium Funds or a $200 Amazon Gift Certificate.

All you have to do is send them a story in writing or in a YouTube video, describing a situation in which Phonevite saved the day or made your life easier. Not only do they generate interest and engagement, they get a ton of endorsements and lots of linkbait (link recognition) from YouTube. Super clever!

They deserve all the attention they’re going to get!

To join the contest click this link. It will take you to the form where you can tell your story. If you haven’t tried Phonevite yet, give it a try. You get 25 calls for free (I use it a lot for reminders) It’s easy to learn and use.
